We noticed that all of the car manufacturers we're interested in had special sales incentives through 3/2/26. We went to the Oregon Auto Show in Portland last weekend and spent a few hours looking at cars. We finally decided we liked the 2026 Subaru Forester Wilderness. We searched the Portland area Subaru dealer sites and decided to check CARR Subaru out. Our neighbor has a Subaru Outback and said very good things about the car and Carr dealership. Carr was very freindly and professional, and has a good range of available cars. We did two test drives and then worked closely with Carr Sales to arrive at a price and options that won our business. The process was very smooth, friendly, and efficient. We've been buying cars since the 1980s and this was one of the very best car buying experiences that we've had. We highly recommend CARR Subaru.

Aleksey did an incredible job at making sure we had a good understanding of the car and equipment and run all the numbers/estimates for us even before going to see the car, which made it a very transparent experience and gave us a good idea of what to expect. Aleksey helped us with our trade in car as well and gave us a very good value and we are so excited it helped us getting us into our new car. Aleksey was never pushy and listened and understood when we shared what we needed. Jessica really went the extra mile as well to get us over the finish line of getting us into the car affordable but making sure we had the best coverage! Overall the best car buying experience I have ever had, and we are so happy with our new Outback 2026. We traded our old Outback that we have always been happy with and we look forward to doing that too for years with our new Outback!
Edited: Jeremy is the reason my review is changing from 2 star to 5 star. When I finally got in touch with him the issue of a refund was handled the way it should have been from the beginning. He called me back on a Friday after the business office closed and told me he would look into it and call me back Monday. I got a call almost first thing in the morning Monday and told a check was on the way. I received the check on Saturday and he even called on a Sunday to follow up and make sure I got it. He gave me a direct line to make sure things went smoothly and to help with any needs in the future. Because of Jeremy our family would return here for another vehicle in the future. When we found the expedition we were looking for here we were excited and the guy we were working with was amazing and communicated so clearly before we got there which was great because we had to drive an hour to get there with 6 kids. The process of getting the expedition was quick and easy. That part was wonderful. The reason for the 2 stars is that we paid extra to get another key and they had said then we would get it in the mail in a few weeks so we could take it to a closer dealership to get it programmed. Well it’s been over a year and numerous attempts to get either a key or our money back and each time we get met with them saying they will look into it and then we never hear back from them. The car we bought also had to go in and get a whole new transmission but thankfully that was covered under warranty. If you do decide to get a vehicle here just make sure you don’t pay for anything extra you aren’t walking out of the door with that day because you will never get it.

After our 191,000-mile minivan blew a motor — and having already replaced the transmission two years earlier — buying a new vehicle became a necessity.
