Rene is awesome! Replaced a catalytic converter for me on short notice to help me pass DEQ with a car I bought. Super friendly and great prices. Will definitely be back if I need work done on our other vehicles.
I recently had my brakes serviced, including the replacement of both the upward and downward sensors. Additionally, I had the spark plugs replaced. The mechanic’s work was exceptional, and I will only entrust him with the maintenance of my vehicle in the future.
Rene is truly one of a kind. He is reliable, honest, and a hardworking family man who really knows exhaust and auto work. I took my 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport to multiple exhaust shops trying to replace my Bank 2 catalytic converter. Because of how tight the space is and the maneuvering involved, every shop except Rene either was not confident doing the job or did not know how to handle it. Rene knew exactly what to do. Not only did he successfully replace the catalytic converter, but he also went above and beyond. He noticed and fixed gasket leaks, replaced a pulley, and thoroughly searched my car to track down the disturbance related to an O2 sensor. All of this was done for a very reasonable price and in a timely manner, which helped me pass DEQ and get everything ready for our move. It is rare to find someone this honest, skilled, and thorough. We are beyond grateful and will recommend Rene to everyone we know in Portland. Thank you so much, Rene!
