They were super quick to help me out with a company car issue. Got me back up and going within a day. Very kind and courteous. I also really like their online system for showing you their inspection results and helping you make informed decisions about the services you need. Would definitely go back here. They were very professional and definitely gave me the feeling they were serious about what they do. Also family owned! Big plus.

Very friendly and easy to do business with. They were knowledgeable. I did ask for a EVAP diagnosis and they did a basic diagnostic and said the EVAP system needs to be fixed. A little disappointing since I thought we could accelerate that process since I already had read the codes and knew that was a problem. They did fix it for a reasonable price. There were codes still when I picked it up, but I thought it just needed a drive cycle. A full drive cycle and the codes were there. Had to go back in. They thought the part was wrong and replaced it at no additional charge. Codes were there still and so I went on another drive to see if they would reset. They didn't so back in for a third time. They did full diagnostics on the EVAP system and couldn't find anything. Picked it up and went for a drive. I was able to pass DEQ and I'm happy. I do wish I knew why the codes wouldn't go away for me but did for MasterTech. Likely just a wierd old car thing. Overall great experience.

I brought my car into MasterTech at my wife’s suggestion after she had a great experience with them last year. I went in for my maintenance minder—an oil change, tire rotation, and brake fluid flush—and from the moment I dropped my car off, everyone I dealt with was extremely personable. Darren reached out shortly after with a link to a video showing additional issues that needed attention. I’m not very knowledgeable about car repairs, but I knew something was going on with my front driver-side tire and had been putting it off. The video Darren sent, along with the educational clip that followed, explained everything clearly and in a way that was easy to understand. The work was completed and I was able to pick up my car before the end of the day. Since the total was more than I initially expected, Darren and Ishmael walked me through my financing options, which made the whole process stress-free. Huge relief. I drove my car home and it ran like a champ—no issues at all. I would never hesitate to bring my car back to MasterTech and highly recommend them.

I originally came to master tech Gresham with a worn out steering lock housing. They said it could possibly take up to 6 months to fix because they had to get a new key code from the manufacturer. They were able to get me up and going again in a little over a month! They also noticed that my serpentine belt needed to be replaced too and suggested that they replace it before they returned it back to me. During the time they had my car I came to the shop on two separate occasions to get something out of my car. On one occasion my rear passenger door was left ajar and on another occasion my drivers side window was left down. And upon return of my car after the initial steering lock housing was fixed and serpentine belt replaced, my car was covered in tree sap from on of the fir trees nearby. Those are the areas I noticed needed improvement (but we all have room for improvement). A couple months after having my car back I noticed that the steering column cover wasn’t on correctly. I contacted master tech and they said to bring it back in and they would take a look at it. Upon inspection and trying to fix it they said the part was brittle and needed to be replaced. These guys took it upon themselves to get the steering column fixed and they stuck with it until it was fixed correctly even when they were sent the wrong cover and some that were broken from their supplier. They got my car fixed back to how it was before I brought it in. I appreciate everything they did! I marked overpriced because it was expensive but I also understand the Labor and the situation my car was in. The team at master tech is great and they will ensure the work is done properly

My truck died on the interstate half way through a 3 week cross country trip. AAA towed it to Master Tech, 40 miles away on a Sunday while they were closed. They got it in on Monday, ran some diagnostics and called me that afternoon. They determined it probably needed a new transmission and I should tow it to a dealer for warranty repair after checking the VIN and confirming that I was still on warranty. They charged me nothing, which was a big surprise. I was very happy with their speed, accuracy and professionalism.
