Shifty and predatory, these folks. They have an AI agent that works quite well and guides you through a bunch of questions to find out what you need, then tells you they’ll wait time will be 30-60 minutes and quotes a price you have to agree to before talking to a real person. The real person quotes you a different price - $30 in my case, but they don’t seem too consistent - then make a show of asking the driver for a discount before coming back to tell me they’ll give me a $10 discount. So, great…I only have to pay $20 more than my quoted price. Of course, all of this is happening while I’m in distress, car sitting dead in traffic was the sun goes down, so what choice to I have after spending 40 minutes to get to this point? Of course, it’s not until you go through *all* of that that the 30-60 minute clock starts. Once the driver enters the pic, everything is great. Super nice and respectful guy - and the only reason this isn’t a one star review - who knows what he’s doing and gets right to work. I did thank him for the discount and he had no idea what I was talking about, so that whole act on the phone was just BS to cover them getting called out as cheats. All in, the whole ordeal started at 6:15 pm and my car was dropped about 5 blocks from where it died by 8:45, pretty long time commitment just to get help in a fairly dire situation. The tow took less than an hour, so the other 90 minutes was dealing with the agents on the phone and waiting. My opinion? Keep the AI and the driver - everyone else just slowed the process down and cost this company stars on their review.
