Clean, hip, easy to check in, convenient location. The rooms have chalk board paint on the doors so you can write a message or leave some art, which is fun.

A good hotel with a few drawbacks that make it hard to give a 5-star. The rooms were clean, the shower got hot and had good water pressure, the bed was comfortable and the temperature control in the room worked well. The only things I disliked was the windows and the lack of sound-proofing. The windows specifically have a view of the tent and also the walkway past your room, not great for privacy so the blinds are a must. For a reasonable price, with great location and service I'd be happy to go again when I'm in the area.

Nice boutique hotel. Conveniently located in Eastside Portland. Close to all the bars, coffee shops, and food spots. Rooms were clean and smelled good. Service was excellent. You could call the front desk any time of the the night and someone would answer immediately. Same thing with somebody always being at the front desk of the lobby. Would definitely stay with them again.

The hotel is clean. It has comfortable beds and good black out curtains. But that’s about it. It lacks normal amenities; no microwave, water, coffee or ironing board. No storage for clothes, only like 5 coat hangers and a very small rack. Only an ice bucket and 2 cups supplied. Very small. You can contact the other hotel for some items. Water pressure could be better, but the shower heads were tall which is nice, we are taller and that can be a problem. The room was cute with the painting and a very big full sized mirror, which we liked. The door was a chalk board which is fun. The walls are not AT ALL sound proof. We could hear the exact conversations of the room above us. Thankfully it didn’t seem too busy, and we were gone out of the hotel only using it to sleep in and people weren’t partying. I was worried being where our room on the bottom floor and faces a big open outdoor seated area. I could see this being AWFUL if there was a wedding event. I was worried about people coming around outside the room from the streets, but the security does rounds at night and it felt safe. However, they had an employee pressure washing outside of our room at like 8 am on Saturday, so that was very annoying. Location was perfect for us. Close to the events we wanted to go to, and it had the convenience store right around the corner. Good food in the area. (The Euro place next door was amazing). Staff were nice at the other hotel. I probably would have booked that one if I would have realized that this was like a motel and all the staff are at the other hotel. It felt very separate, having to walk across the street if you needed anything, or texting their service number. Parking was additional $, which was more than the initial amount I was told on the phone when booking just 3 weeks prior. $20 a night for the gated area or $40 for the garage.

I cannot even put into words how great my experience was at Jupiter Hotel. The staff were so welcoming and kind. I had requested a quieter room before I arrived and they accommodated me, no problem. My room was indeed quiet and so cute! They upgraded me to a king room and it was just as comfortable as sleeping at home. The cleaning crew does an impeccable job, I don't know if I've ever stayed in a cleaner hotel room. I felt completely safe walking to and from the Moda Center by myself after the concert I was in town for. This was my first time staying in Portland and I can't wait to go back.
